5 Tips for Healthy Skin:
1.) Protect yourself from the sun.
-Lifetime of sun exposre can cause wrinkles, skin cancer, freckles, sun burn, age spots,
and rough, dry skin
2.) Avoid sun at 10AM-4PM, which are the hours of the strongest rays of suns
3.) Wear protective clothing.
4.) Use sunscreen when in the sun, reapply every 2 hours, after heavy sweating, or after being in the water.
5) Don't Smoke.

Steps to Taking care of your skin:
1. Wash your face twice a day (No more) with warm water and a mild soap made for people with acne. Overwashing and scrubbing can cause skin irritaion. Wash in a circular motion. After washing, American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) recommends using lotion containing benzoyl peroxide, which decreases oil and bacteria. If you use Proactic, it contains benzoyl peroxide. Benzoyl peroxide is usually labeled in the ingredients.
2. DON'T POP PIMPLES. Popping pimples will leave scars, some forever, and popping pimples also cause MORE redness, irritation, affects spots around that part of skin, and also makes the pimple SPREAD!
3. Avoid touching face with fingers or leaning face on objects that collect dust, germs/bacteria like a phone. Also, don't lean on public devices.
4. If you wear glasses/sunglasses, clean grequently to keep oil from clogging pores around nose and eyes.
5. If you get acne on body, it may be because that you are wearing too much tight clothes. Tight clothes makes the skin harder to breathe, causing the pores to be blocked from not breathing.
6. Remove makeup before you go to sleep to keep pores open, and not closed from the makeup.
7. Protect skin from sun.
8. Keep hair clean and out of face. Having hair in face makes it sweeping on your skin, causing more bacteria onto your skin.

HOME-MADE FACIAL MASKS:
You can use avocados, oatmeal, or yogurt for best effects. (Avocados help a lot with dry skin!)
Before doing the following facial masks, you must wash your face before applying!
a.) AVOCADO FACIAL MASK:
1.) Mash 1 whole avocado.
2.) Add 1 teaspoon of Flaxseed Oil and 1 teaspoon of honey.
3.) Mix together until smooth and creamy.
4.) Apply to face and let it sit for 15-20 Min.
5.) Rinse clean with warm water.
b.) OATMEAL FACIAL MASK:
1.) Get a handful of Oats, for best effect, use 100% Oats.
2.) Leave Oats in the hand, and make your hand into a fist, leading the oats to be inside
the fist. TIGHTLY! If this is too hard for you, you can put oats into a small bowl.
3.) Let water inside the fist, or let water in the bowl. (If you use a bowl, you must
squeeze the oats inside the bowl with water.) WATER JUST HAS TO BE ENOUGH TO MAKE THE OATS
SOAKY AND WET!
4.) Apply oats onto face with hand. DON'T RUB! MASSAGE IT IN, BUT SOFTLY! Massage in
CIRCULAR MOTION!
5.) Leave for about 15-20 Min.
6.) Wash off with Lukewarm Water.
THIS MAY BE MESSY WHEN YOU APPLY IT, BUT THAT'S HOW IT WORKS. DON'T WORRY THAT IT'S WRONG!
c.) YOGURT FACIAL MASK:
1.) Get a spoonful of yogurt.
2.) Use a brush to apply onto face for better effect.
3.) AVOID AROUND EYES! Don't get it in the eyes!
3.) After done, rinse your brush and let it sit for about 15-20 Min. Try not to move your
face!
4.) Rinse with lukewarm water to take yogurt off. You may need to rinse it a couple of
times!

LAST STEP FOR BEST EFFECT FOR ALL FACIAL MASKS IS TO USE A SOFT SPONGE, PREFERABLY A FACIAL SPONGE, AND DAMP THE SKIN ON FACE LIGHTLY (DO NOT RUB) AFTER THE RINSE/WASH.
